Financial Aid

Bridgton Academy is committed for the long-term to help make a Bridgton education accessible to students from all socio-economic backgrounds, while at the same time being responsible stewards of our future financial health. The Board of Trustees works to keep tuition as low as possible while ensuring that our facilities are modern, well maintained, and conducive to teaching and learning to the highest standards.

Bridgton Academy provides need-based financial grants when applicable. Approximately sixty percent (60%) of Bridgton Academy’s students receive need-based financial grants. To determine the most equitable estimate of a family’s ability to contribute towards education costs for their son, Bridgton Academy uses a financial need analysis done by either TADS or Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). This analysis along with other factors serves as the guide for determining financial aid. Other factors include the number of students applying for financial aid, the total financial aid budget in a given year, and the time of year that an application is received.

To be considered for financial aid, parents must complete and submit one of the following forms:

1. TADS Financial Assessment
School code: BD190030000

2. Parents Financial Statement (PFS)
School code: 1840.

Important Note:
It is recommended that financial aid applications be submitted simultaneously with the admission application or as soon as possible thereafter. Financial aid is limited and it’s best not to delay your application.

If you have any questions regarding financial aid please contact the Office of Admission/Financial Aid by phone at 207-647-3322 x1.
