Bridgton Academy Football Preseason Camp
All incoming 2019-2020 Bridgton Academy football candidates are invited to attend Football Preseason Camp beginning on Monday, August 26th and running through Registration Day on Saturday, August 31st.
Football Preseason Camp Check-In Information:
Check-in for Preseason Camp will be held on Monday, August 26th from the hours of 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM in the Humanities Center (follow Event Parking signs).
Student-athletes do not need to be accompanied by parents for Preseason Camp Check-in; however, students travelling alone must have the following items completed (or come prepared to complete them) upon their arrival:
- Online Health Registration through SchoolDoc (Families will receive an email invitation prior to August 1st from SchoolDoc.)
- Completed Bridgton Academy Enrollment Agreement & Tuition Deposit
Students will be unable to participate in Preseason Camp until these items have been provided.
Students who will be checking in with their parents on August 21st can finalize these items during registration; however, we highly encourage you to complete the above items prior to your camp arrival.
Following check-in, students will settle into their temporary dormitory housing before proceeding to Memorial Gymnasium for equipment issue. Lunch will be served at 12:00. There will be a brief meeting for parents provided by Coach Marcella. Our first practice of the season will commence shortly thereafter.
Transportation:
Students driving themselves to campus will be required to park their car in the Student Parking Lot following check-in. Bridgton motor vehicle registration forms will be available for completion during Registration Day on August 31st. Student parking stickers are not required for vehicles during Preseason Camp. (Please note that the Student Parking Lot will be locked for the duration of Preseason Camp.)
Transportation via cab service is available from both Portland International Jetport as well as the bus/train station. Students are responsible for the costs of their transportation to campus.
Preseason Camp Housing:
Players will be housed in temporary dormitory housing during Football Preseason Camp. They will receive their permanent dormitory housing and roommate assignments during Registration Day on August 31st. Please understand that your camp room and roommate assignment are simply for the duration of preseason camp and are subject to change.
Registration Day
Registration Day for all members of the Class of 2020 will be held on Saturday, August 31st from 8:00AM – 12:00PM. During Registration, students and parents will meet with representatives from all major campus departments and complete any forms requiring finalization. Students will be provided their advisor assignment on Registration Day. Any remaining student belongings for those attending Preseason Camp may be moved into campus housing on Registration Day.
