214th Commencement Exercises: Celebrating the Class of 2022

On Saturday, May 7, the Bridgton Academy community came together for its 214th Commencement Exercises. For the first time in two years, we were excited to once again host this momentous event in Chalmers Ice Arena! The arena was filled with graduating students, their families, faculty and staff, alumni, trustees, and friends of the Academy, all of whom gathered to congratulate the Class of 2022 on their accomplishments.

 

Class speaker, Chase DeLoach, offered humorous, yet poignant remarks on his time at the Academy, noting that, “We may never have a school year like this again.” He also charged his peers to “dream and to dare” and “be the best version of yourself…because you are Wolverines!” 

 

Unsurprisingly, it was a day brimming with jubilation, pride, and excitement, and even a few tears of joy.
