The Application Process

Bridgton Academy has a rolling admission policy. In other words, there is no hard application deadline. Students are encouraged to apply beginning in September of their senior year. Applications are considered over several months and candidates are notified of decisions continuously throughout the year until spaces are full. Do not delay your application as the class may fill quickly. Once all your application credentials have been received, the Admissions Committee will review your application and furnish a decision.

How to Apply:

STEP 1: Submit an Inquiry and Create a Blackbaud Account

Submit our Student Inquiry Form so we can prepare for your visit. After submitting an inquiry, you will be emailed instructions to create your Bridgton Academy Blackbaud account, then you will have access to the admissions portal.

STEP 2: Complete Application

After setting up your Bridgton Academy Blackbaud account, complete the rest of your application in the portal.

We also accept the Standard Application Online in place of the application found in Blackbaud.

STEP 3: Submit Transcripts and Recommendations

Fill out our Transcript Request Form and submit it to your high school counselor.

The following can be sent to your teachers for recommendations:

  • English Teacher Recommendation
  • Math Teacher Recommendation
  • Character Recommendation
  • STEP 4: Interview and Tour Campus

Interviews are offered in-person or online, and are available Monday-Friday at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm. Call 207-647-3322 ext. 1 to schedule your interview. Campus visits begin with a tour and conclude after your interview/discussion with an Admissions Counselor. The opportunity to meet with a coach and/or faculty member of a program in which you are interested is also provided.

If you are planning to apply for Financial Aid, please visit our Tuition & Financial Aid page for specific instructions. Bridgton Academy uses the Clarity financial aid application. We recommend that the financial aid application be completed in conjunction with the admission application.
