Bridgton announces Jayson Paré as the Academy’s new Director of Recruiting and Enrollment Management

NORTH BRIDGTON, ME – Bridgton Academy is pleased to announce Jayson Paré as the Academy’s new Director of Recruiting and Enrollment Management. Paré brings a diverse background to Bridgton, including work in both the nonprofit and financial industries. After embarking on a wide-ranging search process with talent sourcing partner DovetailED, Jayson rose to the top of the candidate pool with his energy, commitment, and passion for helping young people achieve their goals.
“Jayson Paré is smart, motivated, and a good match for Bridgton Academy because he understands and values the importance of the postgraduate year for students who are looking for more,” expressed Head of School, Diana J. Gleeson. “Throughout Jayson’s career, he has worked to create value wherever he goes. His analytical skills and ability to view his work from different perspectives will benefit the Academy. Jayson’s passion and energy will be essential as he plays a pivotal role in student lives and shaping the future of Bridgton Academy. I am excited to have Jayson join our team here at Bridgton.”
A long-time resident of Bethel, Maine, Jayson holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University. Having played sports himself, as well as coaching for several years and parenting a professional athlete, Jayson has a strong understanding of what motivates student-athletes. Most recently, Jayson was employed by the Maine State Housing Authority, working to produce affordable multi-family rental housing throughout Maine.
Paré’s recruiting background stems from his leadership of the USASA Maine Mountain Series, the gateway qualifiers for snowboard and freeski athletes with goals of reaching the Olympics. As the director of this organization’s Maine series, Paré managed over twenty events throughout Maine for athletes of all ages. During that time, Paré helped to grow the Maine Mountain Series from the middle of the pack to the fourth largest series nationally.
“I have a deep passion for providing an environment where students can grow, compete, and gain the life skills needed to be successful,” shared Paré. “At Bridgton Academy, this exact environment already exists, making it a perfect fit for me. Bridgton is the only school in the country exclusively designed for postgraduates and select seniors. Here at the Academy, students can experience a college model, gaining the skills necessary to build a foundation for success.
