A celebration of life for long-time Academy coach and faculty member, Whit Lesure, will take place on the campus of Bridgton Academy on Friday, April 10, 2026. This memorial will provide an opportunity for family, friends, students, alumni, and community members at large to join together in honor of a man who meant so much to so many.

The Lesure family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, gifts in Whit’s memory may be made to the Coach Whit Lesure Scholarship Fund at Bridgton Academy. The Coach Whit Lesure Scholarship, existing as part of the Academy’s broader Wolverine Opportunity Scholarship Fund, will award outright scholarships to incoming Bridgton Academy basketball players in memory and honor of Coach Whit Lesure.
