Create Opportunity this Founding Day

As Bridgton Academy approaches its 220th year of academic service, it faces one of the most challenging economic and enrollment environments in its long history. Dozens of independent schools and small colleges throughout the United States have merged or closed their doors in recent years, and this harrowing climate for private education shows no sign of abating.

Bridgton Academy is not immune to this challenging climate, but within this time of hardship, we see continued opportunity. Why? Because there is no other independent school in the world like Bridgton Academy—and, with the very real challenges facing young men today, Bridgton Academy’s mission is more important than ever.

As we recognize Bridgton Academy’s Founding Day this March, we ask that you join us in preserving the critical work of Bridgton Academy by making a gift in support of the Wolverine Opportunity Scholarship Fund.

The Wolverine Opportunity Scholarship

The number of students who could truly benefit from the Bridgton Academy experience is beyond measure, and the Academy has always been proud to stretch deeply to provide access for all of our students. In today’s reality, our ability to meet student need and remain fiscally sustainable has reached a critical juncture. Today, we ask for your support to provide for the young men of tomorrow as Bridgton Academy once provided for you.

Wolverine Strength Bolsters Ambitious Goal

This fall, Bridgton Academy announced an aggressive goal of raising $1,500,000 in immediate-use scholarship support for the incoming Class of 2027. These funds will provide future students with enhanced opportunity and access to “the year that makes the difference,” while supporting the financial landscape of the Academy.
