Alumni Game Day
Bridgton Academy is excited to announce our upcoming Alumni Game Day on Friday, August 11! This event will offer six different outings for our alumni to choose from including baseball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse, and soccer! We invite all of our alumni (and fans!) to join us on campus for a fun-filled day of friendly competition and reconnecting with friends old and new!
Whether you’re coming to play or spectate, Alumni Game Day is sure to be a memorable event. In conjunction with the festivities, we’ll also be hosting a mobile auction with a great collection of Bridgton jerseys available for bidding. All of our players and guests are invited to wrap up the day by joining Bridgton’s new Head of School Diana Gleeson for evening refreshments at nearby Bridgton Highlands Country Club.
Alumni Game Day Schedule
12:00 pm: Check-in begins at Athletic Fields
- Game Day shirts will be given to all players
1:00 pm: Hockey (Chalmers Ice Arena) and Basketball (Memorial Gym) games
2:30 pm: Baseball (Koop Field) and Lacrosse (Turf Athletic Field) games
4:00 pm: Flag Football (1/2 field on turf) and Soccer (1/2 field on turf) games
** Note: Game formats will be determined based on the number of players participating in each game.
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Join new Head of School Diana Gleeson along with faculty and friends for evening refreshments at Bridgton Highlands Country Club clubhouse (located 2.2 miles from campus)
Throughout the day, we’ll have drinks and snacks available under the tent, along with a food truck (Mow’s Munchies) here on campus for any hungry Wolverines. Outdoor games and other fun activities including a bounce house for our younger guests will be set up on the fields as well. It’s going to be a great day, family-friendly day here in North Bridgton, so be sure to mark your calendars! We hope to see you!

- Can I play in more than one game? Yes—As long as the games are not taking place at the same time, you are welcome to register for more than one sport.
- Do I have to have played a particular sport at Bridgton to play in that alumni game? No, you are welcome to play in any game, whether you played that sport formally at Bridgton or not.
- Will there be an athletic trainer on campus for the games? Yes!
- Do I have to be on campus to bid in the Bridgton jersey auction? No—Bidding will take place through an online format, so even if you can’t be here, please feel free to bid on your favorite
- Will there still be an Alumni Hockey Game in December? Yes—The hockey game on Alumni Game Day will not take the place of the annual game in December. jersey (or two!) All jerseys will be shipped to the winning bidders the following week.
