Bridgton Academy Baseball
Dating back to before the turn of the 20th Century, the Bridgton Academy Baseball program has as rich a tradition as any school imaginable – possibly one of the oldest programs in the country. And now, with a re-alignment of the diamond to better suit the path of the sun and the installation of a new artificial turf infield, home run fence, and dugouts, Bridgton Academy baseball is poised to become even more of a cornerstone of the Academy’s FULL-YEAR athletic programs. With three NECBA championships under our belt (2012, 2014, 2018), each incoming class has a legacy to live up to.
We’ve seen Wolverine Baseball players move on to such schools as Maryland, Marist, the University of Maine, Holy Cross, UMass-Lowell, Bentley University, Central Connecticut State University, Manhattan College, SUNY-Binghamton, Saint Michael’s College and many others. Additionally, many Bridgton Baseball players have been on the diamond in some of the most highly regarded summer leagues in the country, including the NECBL.
Coach Aaron Izaryk has built a program that prepares our players for college in more ways than just baseball – it teaches them to #BeBetter in every facet of school and athletic life. Two NECBA championships in the last three years attest to the program’s success on the field as well, and as the new field takes shape, coach Izaryk’s squad is even better positioned to succeed.
